Michael Philip Henderson
Specialist for General Medicine

Born in Bad Godesberg, Michael Philip Henderson began to study human medicine at the Semmelweiss University in Budapest and subsequently completed his medical studies at the University of Bonn (Rheinische Friedrich-Williams University). At the beginning of the nineties, he worked in Bonn in the department of surgery, internal medicine and  anesthesia. Subsequently he took up a post as a "Senior House Officer in general Medicine and Geriatrics" at Medway hospital in London, England. In 1995 he left London to take up a position in the department of hematology at the Universitätsklinikum Bonn (Bonn University Hospital), where he worked on both a patient-oriented and scientific basis. Here his main area of work focused on hemophilia and infectious diseases. In 1997 he took over a family practice in the city center of Cologne and developed the practice into an interdisciplinary health care center. From 2005 – 2006, he went on a sabbatical, pursuing a course as a director at the Met Film School in London. During this time , he worked on  several short film projects. Following his sabbatical, he took over Rudolf Segschneider’s medical practice. Since mid 2006, he has actively participated in the structural establishment of Merea, the integral medical house.
